Woman Made Gallery - New On-line Artists' Registry Our On-Line Artists' Registry has been launched. Any woman artist can be part of this. Women's Studio Center - We are a fine art studio in Long Island City offering classes and workshops to artists and writers and produce Women's Arts News - a monthly publication highlighting history and current events of women in the arts.
National Museum of Women in the Arts the National Museum of Women in the Arts, founded in 1981 and opened in 1987, is the only museum dedicated solely to celebrating the achievements of women in the visual, performing, and literary arts. The permanent collection contains works by more than 800 artists, including Judith Leyster, Maria Sibylla Merian, Mary Cassatt, Camille Claudel, Georgia O’Keeffe, Frida Kahlo, Elizabeth Catlett, Lee Krasner, Helen Frankenthaler, and Louise Bourgeois.
